Loading Dock Receiving Supervisor, Little Caesars Arena

**The Opportunity**

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time Loading Dock Receiving Supervisor to join our team at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Loading Dock Receiving Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

$17.00 - $17.00 / hour

**Responsibilities**

+ Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling

+ Ensure proper stock of food and beverage products

+ Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of the outdated product, ensuring the rotating of products (FIFO)

+ Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise

+ Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas

+ Oversee the proper closing of the assigned area

+ Enforce company policies and safety regulations

+ Other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum 6 months of food and beverage commissary or related experience required

+ Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required

+ Ability to delegate and coach others

+ Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Basic math and counting skills required -Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 pounds

+ Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift

+ Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
