  • Advance working knowledge of Air compressor and pneumatic systems, Pneumatic conveying theory and related systems, and grinders.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. unassisted.

Our client is seeking an experienced mechanical associate to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting the engineering department. The ideal candidate will have mechanic, maintenance and troubleshooting skills which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician**

**Location: Columbia, SC**

**Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00**

**What's the Job?**

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.

+ Perform equipment modifications and rebuilds.

+ Responsible for ensuring equipment is properly maintained in order to manufacture safe, legal, and quality product.

+ Perform routine maintenance welding and minor fabrication.

+ Demonstrate creative troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
