The PJF Group is seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent to oversee all aspects of job planning, scheduling, safety, quality control, and project documentation in Costa Mesa, CA. Responsibilities

  • Review plans and specifications, coordinate between design disciplines, and develop detailed job schedules.
  • Track labor requirements and ensure all subcontractor scopes are thoroughly reviewed.
  • Identify special safety and weather requirements, work with Safety Managers to ensure all safety aspects are covered, and verify permit requirements and inspections.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact the project schedule, and maintain jobsite conduct for all trades.
  • Manage all relevant documentation, including permits and drawings, and maintain excellent relationships with owners, architects, agencies, subcontractors, and employees.
  • Monitor labor and material costs weekly, review subcontractor billings, and provide monthly progress updates for cost analysis.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 10 years of construction experience
  • Strong track record of managing large, complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to train and mentor others
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with scheduling software (such as MS Project, P6, or Suretrak)
  • Experience with project management software (like CMiC or similar programs)

Your leadership will be essential in managing field employees, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
