  • Contribute to the quarterly and annual tax footnote disclosure process, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop the tax department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and consistent learning.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree or certification such as a CPA or MST preferred.
  • Proven experience leading a global tax function, with specific expertise in tax provision and global tax consolidation.
  • Demonstrated experience with divestitures and proformas.
  • In-depth understanding of tax codes and laws in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • An analytical mind, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an interim Tax Director to oversee our consumer goods clients' tax operations, including provisions, estimates, global consolidation for tax and bookings of journal entries related to tax. This is a leadership position that requires a strategic and forward-thinking individual who is fully equipped to deal with the potential challenges of divestitures and proformas. This is a 4-6 month fully remote engagement beginning immediately.
