Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • 4+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on strategic and operational impact
  • Strong proficiency in machine learning, modeling, algorithms, and knowledge extraction
  • Proficiency in MLOps using Aure, Azure ML, ADF, Databricks, Google Cloud, or AWS
  • Experience with advanced data pipeline
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database programming
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Domo, Tableau) and reporting platforms
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, remote environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines

Position Title & Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with a keen interest in applying these skills to influence company-wide strategy and operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and use your algorithmic and ML/AI expertise to extract actionable knowledge from large and heterogenous datasets, develop predictive models, and provide insights to drive our business forward.

At Mediavine, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications. The base salary range for this role at the time of posting is $115,000 - $130,000 USD/yr.
