Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Vice President to design, develop, maintain, and support Data Warehouse Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) software using various tools and technologies. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and support Data Warehouse Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) software using Informatica, Shell Scripts, DB2, UDB, and Autosys.
  • Prepare system architecture/re-design proposals for greater efficiency and ease of maintenance.
  • Work on all aspects of software development life cycle (SDLC) with focus on ETL, Transactional Data Processing (OLTP), and Data Warehouse.
  • Work on multiple IT projects simultaneously and work with stakeholders, clients, and other system owners to drive projects to successful completion.
  • Perform data modeling and systems architecture.
  • Work with business analysts and other project leads to understand requirements.
  • Model and implement database schemas.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Risk business unit, IT business analysts, graphical user interface (GUI) development teams, and data providers and consumers to deliver Credit Risk Data Warehouse systems related projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, ETL Consultant, Associate, Database Developer or a related role
  • Five (5) years of experience with relational database with an emphasis on Data Warehouse including DB2, UDB, Oracle, PLSQL, Sybase or SQL Server
  • Five (5) years of experience with Python
  • Five (5) years of experience with Autosys
  • Five (5) years of ETL experience including Informatica PowerCenter
  • Five (5) years of experience with Unix Shell scripting
  • Three (3) years of experience with System design using Erwin data modeler or Sybase PowerBuilder
  • Two (2) years of experience with Greenplum
  • Any amount of experience with code versioning using Git
  • Any amount of experience with Jenkins
  • Any amount of experience with Informatica Powercenter Administration
  • Any amount of experience with Informatica Data Quality
  • Any amount of experience with Agile development
  • Any amount of experience with DevOps
  • Any amount of experience with Object Oriented design
  • Any amount of experience with Credit Risk

Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $197,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
