Qualifications

Required

  • Familiarity with NAS, SAN and Network troubleshooting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and isolating Software and Hardware issues within a Linux environment.
  • Understanding of system security.
  • Good understanding of RAID.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in IT.
  • Superb time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts based on business need.
  • On-call support on weekend is required.

Preferred

  • LPIC-1, RHCSA certification or higher
  • Linux/UNIX-related software/scripting development in one or more of the following: Python, Shell, Perl, Ruby
  • Experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Git, or other configuration management tools.
  • Experience with revision control systems like GitHub, CI/CD unit testing.
  • Experience with KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
