Groq’s LPUs will power AI from an early stage, and you will get to leave your fingerprint on civilization.Senior Systems Software EngineerResponsibilities & opportunities in this role:Work within a multi-disciplinary team environment to take part in the development, integration, and testing of machine learning HPC (High Performance Compute) platforms.Work multi-functionally with other software, hardware, architecture, and support teams to deliver system software for AI platforms, Linux drivers, PCIe drivers, and user space libraries.Develop hardware abstraction layers between Groq hardware and applications in a highly distributed architecture, of multiple Groq chips, Groq cards, and Groq racks.Triage and debugging of various SW issues.System integration of embedded systems with Silicon, Firmware, and SoftwareUnderstanding machine learning is desirable but not essential.Ideal candidates have/are:5+ years of working experience in a similar role.Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent practical experience.Extensive experience developing low-level performant systems in C++. For this role, the base salary range is $143,600 to $251,300, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.Location: Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are.
