  • Write basic documentation on how technology works and create clear documentation for new code and systems used.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent years of experience
  • 4-7 years of technical engineering experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, NestJS, VueJS
  • Experience with NPM, Docker, GitLab
  • Knowledge of AWS services including MySQL, Kubernetes, Lambdas, Route 53
  • Familiarity with monitoring and management tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide customer service
  • Analytical skills for technical writing

The Sr Software Engineer actively participates in architecture and design of various software components focused on creating applications that leverage technologies such as virtualization, micro services, SDN, NFV, and Big Data platforms and technologies. They work on technical assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. They work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative, understand implications of work and make recommendations for solutions. They normally receive little instruction on daily work, and only require general instructions on newly introduced assignments. We are seeking a highly skilled senior software development engineer to lead the development of our knowledge management solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining systems that provide T-Mobile's frontline employees with the key information they need to excel in their roles. You will also manage our video streaming platform and develop low code solutions to improve T-Mobile business processes. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
