Join a global development team for one of Boston's leading Asset Management Firms as a Development Operations Engineer. This role involves reporting to a development manager within Corporate IT, focusing on the design, development, and support of Enterprise Service Platforms. Responsibilities

Qualifications

Required

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a similar technical subject, or three (3) or more years of related work experience
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Understanding of NAS, SAN, CIFS, NFS, TCP/IP, LDAP, SSH, DNS, SMTP, load balancing and troubleshooting
  • Experience in a multi-datacenter infrastructure environment
  • Strong scripting capability around systems integration and management
  • Strong understanding of application virtualization / delivery systems
  • Experience with multiple monitoring methodologies
  • Experience with infrastructure as code development techniques and tools
  • Experience implementing and using configuration management tools
  • Use of continuous integration tools and techniques
  • SQL and Oracle query coding understanding
  • Understanding of programming concepts such as Object Oriented Programming
  • Capability to effectively interact with external people on technical matters
  • Linux administration and support experience

Preferred

  • High energy, positive attitude, professional and mature
  • Experience managing and maintaining Netapp and EMC storage arrays
