Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionCyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant Level (multiple openings) in Ashburn, VA toWorks with Solution or Enterprise Architecture to translate architecture into a delivered solution that realizes the vision and purpose.Provides the technical guidance the project needs to meet the wider goals of the org strategy.Effectively translates functional and non- functional requirements into an engineered solution.Understanding and analyzing the architecture of an existing solution.Leads and supports both product and technical discussions about how to apply existing and new technology in support of the business.Mentor others through informal sessions such as brown bags and tech talks.Own and lead the engineering responsibility for multiple components in a project.Provides consultative work throughout the project lifecycle to ensure vision and goal of project is realized through delivery.Coordinates engineering activities across the delivery of the project.Works with engineers to ensure they are delivering quality and efficiently against project requirements.Supports operational and QA teams in support activities such as troubleshooting, defect research, code promotion and configuration for projects lead by the engineer.Position reports to the Ashburn, Virginia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.Travel required.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a software engineerrelated occupation.Position requires experience in the following:Software product development (Java/J2EE, SOAP/REST web services);Designing architectural horizontally scalable, multi-tenant SOA application;Implementing design patterns;Java, J2EE, RDBMS, NoSQL DB such as Cassandra or Mongo DB, Spring, and Hibernate;Developing and deploying components as docker containers;Understanding Security requirements and standards, and contemporary trends in Security risks as well as technologies;Security domain with authentication, authorization and building secure gateway;Developing & deploying services in any one of the cloud environment like GCP or Azure or AWS;Deployment and distribution lifecycle with automated and scalable CI/CD infrastructure;Third-party libraries and APIs; andCI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven and Git or Stash.Additional InformationWorksite: Ashburn, VAThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Travel Requirements: Travel required.Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
