Duties
Serves as Program Manager and Chief of Staff for Chief Facility Management Officer, CFMO.
- Provides oversight of special projects and programs, policy recommendations, and coordinating strategic activities in partnership within Office of Facilities and Property Management, OFPM, and to OFPM stakeholders.
- Develops strategies on how to execute and measure performance on highly visible initiatives and programs. For example, laboratory gas programs, shipping and receiving, construction and repairs, and transportation related matters under CFMO umbrella.
- Execute developed strategies on facility services to include repair and construction at NIST facilities.
- Leads and coordinates CFMO communication efforts within OFPM and to external OFPM stakeholders.

This position requires one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 (ZA-IV) level. Specialized experience is defined as experience with providing or overseeing facility services providing at least three of the following (facility service contracts, transportation, repairs and construction, shipping/receiving) to internal and external customers AND providing or overseeing those facility services for an organization dispersed in multiple locations or in a base/campus environment.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.
