Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

As a Program Manager in the Transportation Engineering Services (TES) Project Management Office (PMO) Team, you will provide programmatic support to Amazon Logistics (AMZL) and Amazon Extra Large – Special Handling Heavy/Bulky (AMXL) Pre-Construction and Construction management teams. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to support expansion and optimization of the transportation network, including launches of new buildings as well as retrofits of the existing network. You own program strategy, proactively identify risks and solve ambiguous problems, streamline processes and foster innovation, escalate as appropriate to ensure on-time delivery of planned projects, and apply process improvement methodologies to drive the vision of the program. Key competencies of this position include managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional programs, scoping efforts, defining strategic objectives and milestones, and driving execution of concurrent projects in a safe, sustainable, and inclusive manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
