  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions that meet client's specific needs and requirements
  • Use scientific and technical background to provide targeted solutions to customers looking for DP&C services
  • Lead contract negotiations and ensure the successful closure of deals
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market developments to senior management

Qualifications

Required

  • Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry or other related discipline
  • 7+ years of industry experience in Pharma/Biotech, ideally from big pharma companies
  • Strong technical background at the bench in early stage drug discovery with a focus on chemistry/small molecule
  • Specific experience with either discovery chemistry, process chemistry, CMC, medicinal chemistry, or organic chemistry
  • Strong understanding of the drug development process and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed in assigned territory
