Responsibilities

  • Lead design, validation, and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities and data, aligned with business process needs.
  • Govern the scope of the SAP S/4 template and drive template innovation and evolution through deployments.
  • Take responsibility for Process Order Management, including creation, release, execution, and reconciliation.
  • Engage with Business Partners to define user stories and prioritize backlog.
  • Lead in the overall translation of business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive selection of solution options and work with the Lead Engineer to assess tech elements of the solution.
  • Identify business needs related to solutions requiring integration and configuration options.
  • Lead the integrations design based on business needs and J&J best practices.
  • Facilitate release planning, sprint planning, and demos with stakeholders.
  • Oversee planning and execution of Technical Testing by Engineering team.
  • Support Business Process Owner to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing.
  • Drive reporting and analytics to provide visibility on squad performance.
  • Shape the squad vision & roadmap; Steer the squad in delivering products & features oriented around business impact.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience with experience in manufacturing, SAP, and pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Strong Knowledge of Supply Chain manufacturing business processes: Process Order Management and Execution, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Production Logistics, Quality Management
  • Strong Knowledge of SAP-ERP Manufacturing technical capabilities
  • Understanding of the end-to-end business process linkages across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance and Master Data
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry and knowledge of SOX & GxP compliance regulations
  • Experience with Agile methodology and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model

Preferred

  • Applied knowledge of S/4 HANA and SAP ECC
  • Knowledge/awareness on SAP newest modules (SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud, SAP Batch Release Hub)
  • Knowledge of MES and JnJ ePES integration

The program will simplify the Pharm ERP landscape from 7 to 1, standardizing processes in order to have a cost effective, fit for purpose digital backbone that will enable us to support the Pharm business with agility. Additionally, the program will remediate the end-of-life system exposure that we risk towards the end of this decade.As part of the Pharm Transcend Program, the Technical Product Owner ERP Make will be an active member of the Pharm Supply Chain JJT team, driving global standardization within Pharma of ERP technology solutions in the scope of Process Order Management and Execution including integration with MES/ePES. ePES is a custom MES solution built by JnJ over the last 20 years within SAP ECC and currently implemented in several sites across EMEA and US. This solution is in scope of the IM Transcend program as a connected ecosystem to integrate with S/4 HANA.This Technical Product Owner ERP Make role will be focused on close collaboration with parallel programs currently on going within J&J such as ePES Gurabo Remediation and NextGen MES.The position leads design, validation and delivery of SAP S/4 capabilities and data, aligned with business process needs. The position governs the scope of the SAP S/4 template and drives template innovation and evolution through the deployments.The Technical Product Owner ERP Make role will take responsibility for following scope areas:Process Order Management:· Process Order creation and release· Process Order execution· Integration with J&J custom specific MES (eg. ePES) and with std MES (eg. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
