As a Senior Product Operations Manager for Merchandising Capabilities at Target, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of product development by bridging stakeholders, optimizing processes, and aligning cross-functional product priorities with organizational goals. Responsibilities

  • Creates a portfolio-level intention map to support the product operations priorities and outcomes
  • Develops an operating model team maturity assessment for our product portfolio to provide visibility to the progress and KPIs associated
  • Includes analyzing and preparing insights as well as consulting and coaching based on results
  • Develops and advocates for best practices in tools, processes, documentation, and communication across the product teams and with stakeholders that improve efficiency and value
  • Educates Product and Business Stakeholders on Agile methodology and Product Operating model principles and practices
  • Empowers product teams though meeting teams where they are, understanding context, and providing guidance, support, training that will improve knowledge, skills, and practices
  • Plans and facilitates moments of engagement for our Product teams to encourage connection, appreciation, learning and development

Qualifications

Required

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of product management, product ops and/or product/agile coaching experience
  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, prioritization, sprints, personas)
  • Experience in creating and delivering product tools and stakeholder materials, as well as developing and delivering training experiences for product teams and leaders
  • Strong facilitation skills that guide groups towards productive outcomes while maintaining a positive and collaborative atmosphere
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in easy-to-understand terminology across Sr. Leadership, Operations, Product, and Technology
  • Ability to influence peers, partners, and senior leaders to find common ground, push for consistency where possible and navigate competing interests
  • Ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional conversations
  • Ability to self-organize and lead through ambiguity
  • Experience in change management including planning, executing, and monitoring
