This position manages the Corporate Compliance Product Management team, focusing on system enhancements, integration, and BAU changes to support Compliance Operations. Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of product managers/analysts focused on Compliance tools and systems.
  • Build out and maintain Corporate Compliance current and future state business architecture.
  • Lead and grow the product management practice, product team and Agile competency.
  • Agile/SCRUM Mentor and champion Agile/SCRUM practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts.
  • Identify recommendations for process improvement and lead implementation.
  • Partner with technology and portfolio colleagues for initiative definition and execution.
  • Additional Business Support - Partners with department leadership, internal auditors and examiners, and other stakeholders.
  • Fosters productive and open communication between management and business lines.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Risk Management, Analytics, or Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services industry including management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Risk Management, Analytics, or Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services industry including management
  • Experience in Corporate Compliance, Risk or Financial Crimes Skills
  • Ability to develop, execute, and translate strategy into clear objectives
  • Knowledge of internal controls design and performance as well as spreadsheets and databases
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex regulatory concepts
  • Experience in implementation/integration of 3rd party systems including SAAS and Cloud solutions
  • Significant experience in both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies with specific focus on SCRUM from a product owner/product analyst perspective
  • Ability to manage integrated complex enterprise projects simultaneously
  • Possess advanced leadership skills in influencing and communication
  • Ability to build credibility, establish rapport and clearly communication with team members, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Experience working with and managing external vendors
  • Ability to multi-task own activities across diverse business units and geographical boundaries
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new lines of business, processes, software, systems, and client needs

OverviewThis position manages the Corporate Compliance Product Management team with a focus on system enhancements, integration and BAU changes to support Compliance Operations. This position oversees a team of associates who define and manage the Compliance systems roadmaps, integration, and enhancements through an Agile/Scrum framework. Ensures Agile practices are adhered to and mentors and develops the skills and maturity of the product management practice. Works directly with compliance leaders and SMEs to identify opportunities and gaps, align on priorities and partner with technology through the Compliance Agile construct to build, test and deploy business capabilities. Ensures that all capabilities are accounted for via a roadmap, charter, and have measurable business value that drive operational lift or regulatory alignment. This position is mid-level management position responsible to manage and oversee business infrastructure efforts and staff (FTE and contractors) pertaining to the Corporate Compliance domains, including cross portfolio initiatives and enterprise level integration efforts. This person will hire, train, mentor and grow team members to enable project delivery and career growth using Agile/SCRUM methods. They will work with colleagues and partners across the portfolio, business, and technology organizations to understand scope, prioritize, staff, and oversee execution of FCB funded initiatives. They will be responsible to ensure work is delivered according to the appropriate delivery framework, the business is ready for deployment, the efforts are ready for support, and the work is delivered on time and budget. This position will provide input and direction to the overarching business system architecture and assists in future state direction. Lastly this person will assist in defining future initiatives and crafting the funding and resource models for those initiatives. This position works closely with the CSSI Senior Director and Corporate Compliance leadership to implement infrastructure solutions in support of both Corporate Compliance and FCB enterprise business requirements while enabling growth and safeguarding the bank.This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.ResponsibilitiesOverall Responsibilities: Manages a team of product managers/analysts focused on Compliance tools and systems to support compliance business operational execution aligned with regulatory large financial institution (LFI) expectations. Lead and grow the product management practice, product team and maturity of the Agile competency. Agile/SCRUM Mentor, improve and champion Agile/SCRUM practices and maturity within Compliance and the Enterprise Review Agile execution and outputs to ensure alignment with Scrum practice, identify and implement improvement and grow product team maturity. Work with cross-functional teams including subject matter experts.
