Are you an experienced, hands-on DevOps Engineer who wants to lead technical development efforts? This opportunity on our Application Solutions team will put you in charge of driving the continuous integration and deployment of Commonwealth’s application portfolio.In collaboration with other team members, as well as IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance teams, you will ensure the successful and timely deployment of products. You will also develop the overall strategy, processes, and procedures to automate the release pipeline to package together all elements of a solution, including compiled application software, configuration data, application data, and documentation. This is a new position on a new team, giving you the opportunity to influence direction and build a modern DevOps pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, manage, and maintain CI/CD Pipelines for Azure, AWS and OnPrem deploymentsDesign and Develop CI/CD pipelines for Azure Data Factory, MuleSoft, SalesforceDevelop, optimize, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with Terraform deploymentsAutomate routine tasks using scripting languages Python & PowerShellUtilize Azure Monitor and Application Insights for system monitoring and performance insights, developing comprehensive dashboards for various audiencesDeploy and manage resources on Azure Cloud, including but not limited to Azure Function Apps and Azure App ServicesCreate and maintain high-quality, up-to-date technical documentation on the company wiki detailing DevOps procedures, system configurations, and pipeline architectureCollaborate closely with the software development team to drive improvements in process efficiency and system stabilityMentor junior members of the team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learningCore Strengths and SkillsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 6+ years of experience in a DevOps roleProgramming / Developer background is required (.NET/JAVA)Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Expertise in developing and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and integrating them with TerraformProficiency in scripting with Python & PowerShellExtensive knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform, including Azure Function Apps, Azure App Services, etc.Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and creating monitoring dashboardsExcellent technical documentation skillsRelevant Azure or DevOps certificationsAdditional Skills and Knowledge.NET /Java , SQL, PowerShell/PythonKnowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOpsAzure / AWS Platform KnowledgeFamiliarity with working with a source control system (TFS, GIT, etc.)Have we piqued your curiosity?
