Job SummaryAs a Sr. Software Engineer, you will design, build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our rapidly growing SaaS business. You will be responsible for supporting large scale deployment projects, network and all underlying systems related to supporting cloud computing workloads and IT project deployment. You will also utilize critical thinking and problem solving in concert with effective industry tested tools to deliver exceptional value to our customers.This role will report to the Manager of Cloud Development within the Stratascale department. To learn more about how we’re shaping the future of digital business and a more secure world, visit stratascale.com.ResponsibilitiesIncludes, but not limited to: Lead, design, develop, and deliver systems of high-performance, security, and availability to address wide range of the requirements and specifications Apply best practices in scalability and reliability for implemented solutions Architect effective, efficient and performant data models to support current and future needs Work as a technical expert for development efforts and mentor to other team members  Work on solution-based, outcome-oriented projects with a highly skilled team Be an active member of a growing team; help define and influence team culture & environment Work in a fast-paced, agile project environment with small, focused teams Help with learning for less experienced team members Cultivate an atmosphere of continuous improvement, using objective metrics to constantly raise the bar on execution excellence Champion our Stratascale tenets (aka Wisdoms), operating with vision and integrity, constantly improving personally, and growing as a leader Qualifications5+ years minimum experience in software development with a substantial part of the experience building applications in a hosted Web/SaaS environment4+ years minimum designing and implementing API layer/data access/correlation calculation/testing/authentication functionalities Strong track record with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Ansible, Azure DevOps, etc.)Hands-on experience with Integration Technologies – RESTFul, SOA, microservices Familiarity with one or more databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, CassandraFamiliarity with Golang either in a professional environment or as part of a side projectRequired SkillsExcellent working knowledge of application development using Open Source, Microsoft and other third-party technologies Solid experience of Scrum and Agile technologies Extensive hands-on experience applying Golang for backend architectures and services Full Stack Development –node.js, Golang, TypeScript, Python, Java, .NET Hands-on experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP, JSON, YAML Ability to develop and implement SQL scripts, Stored Procedures and ETL processes Consistency in delivering outputs efficiently and of high quality  Familiarity with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes   Familiarity with cloud and related technologies and/or ability to ramp up quickly  Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, verbally and in writing  Experience writing unit tests  Familiarity with ticketing systems, API integration and security models Strong analytical skills and innovative problem-solving skills  Self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team and independently  Manage your own workload appropriately to ensure timely completion of projects  Ability to improve current knowledge for yourself and mentor others with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systemsCertifications RequiredAWS or Azure cloud certifications (if not up to date, the ability to test in the first 90 days)Additional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $132,000 - $240,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
