Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
  • 6+ years of product owner or product management experience in an Enterprise, full lifecycle, SaaS businesses
  • Strong understanding of inventory management best practices and principals
  • Proven track record of working with customers and technical teams to deliver solutions that are scalable and have a product-market fit
  • Experience in Agile software/DevOps methodologies
  • Ability to influence and drive strategy across a large organization and multiple stakeholders
  • Empathetic and user led/data driven approach to problem-solving and decision making
  • Exceptionally clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Nimble and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong track record of product execution in dynamic environment
  • Open to period travel, as needed

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
  • Automotive Industry experience

Full Job Description

We are looking for a technical, growth-minded LeadProduct Manager to join CDK’s Product team, with focus on CDK’s inventory management portfolio of products. As one of our product manager’s, one will have significant influence in helping to shape the development and management of the inventory management portfolio, allowing for its rich feature set and AI-powered predictive inventory capabilities, which will be a welcomed enhancement to the CDK portfolio.Essential Functions (not limited to):Defines product vision and roadmap for inventory management portfolio, aligning with overall business Trusted partner with peers in product management and other cross-functional teams (i.e.: engineering, design, product marketing) to ensure successful fulfillment of product requirements related to the vision, strategy, and roadmap for CDK’s inventory management portfolio Partners with Product Marketing leaders, to develop and lead a uniquely differentiated value proposition for product that resonates with internal and external stakeholders, resulting in market share and margin growthCollaborates with launch management to ensure smooth, collaborative go-to-market plan, as well as with sales, customer support, pricing, business development, on effective product growth and adoptions, tracking customer feedback and objection handling Conducts research and analysis to deeply understand our customers’ needs to ensure success of our product offerings Communicates effectively with senior executives, and other key stakeholders, keeping everyone informed about product progress, roadmaps, and upcoming featuresEnsures inventory management products offer proper functionality and integrations with other CDK portfolio of productsServes as credible subject matter expert and thought leader; uses functional and domain experience to mentor and guide other product managersRequired Qualification and Attributes:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Engineering or equivalent industry experience6+ years of product owner or product management experience in an Enterprise, full lifecycle, SaaS businessesMust possess a strong understanding of inventory management best practices and principals for considerationProven track record of working with customers and technical teams to deliver solutions that are scalable and have a product-market fit Empathetic and user led/data driven approach to problem-solving and decision making that addresses customer pain points and drives business valueMust have experience in Agile software/DevOps methodologiesPrevious experience working with globally distributed teamsPassion for collaboration and solving complex technical problems with other people Proven ability to influence and drive strategy across a large organization and multiple stakeholders A sense of pride and personal accountability for end-to-end quality and the user experience Exceptionally clear and concise written and verbal communication Nimble and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Strong track record of product execution in dynamic environmentOpen to period travel, as neededPreferred Qualifications:Master's or other graduate degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field Automotive IndustryPragmatic Institute, Product Management Credentials or strong foundational knowledgeBase Salary Ranges: $145,000 - $170,000CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
