It all begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) team to provide guidance related to design and delivery of solutions.In this role, you will:Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)5+ years of development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R5+ years of Linux or Unix Server experience5+ years of database experience with 2 or more of the following platforms: Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MongoDB5+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map3+ years of Agile experienceDesired Qualifications:3+ years of UI experience using in one or a combination of the following: Angular, React JS2 + years of experience with cloud based tools: Azure, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) or a combination of bothPosting Locations:190 River Rd., Summit NJ194 Wood Ave., Iselin, NJ150 E. 42nd St., New York, NY300 S.
