SOFTWARE ENGINEER - LEDGERS

OVERVIEWThis position can be based out of San Francisco or New York.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Ledgers team. The Ledgers product is a database that enables companies to track high volume money movement following double-entry accounting principles. It powers the day-to-day operations of global marketplaces, cards, and peer-to-peer money transfer systems – like ClassPass, Bilt, and Splitwise.Our API is often our customers’ most critical piece of infrastructure. We place a premium on building robust, scalable systems that can sustain a high volume of API calls and exceed the reliability requirements to move money at scale. We complement this with well-thought-out interfaces for our users and pride in writing quality API docs.In addition to our API, we build a web platform that is used by accountants, controllers, and engineers. They use it to perform bank reconciliation, generate reports, and monitor their business. As an engineer, you will work with our product team to build products and features for these users.ABOUT MODERN TREASURYModern Treasury is the operating system for money movement.
