Responsibilities

  • Develop full stack applications that interface directly with Splunk and Cloud Infrastructure
  • Tackle performance and stability issues using a wide variety of tools, including Splunk
  • Work with Product Managers and Engineers to prioritize and define development objectives
  • Participate in various Scrum ceremonies as a member of the agile team
  • Contribute to the team by sharing knowledge, and keeping up with the new trends and best practices as they evolve in the industry

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience developing software solutions with solid software engineering principles and development experience using object oriented programming and scripting languages (Javascript, Python, etc.)
  • Experience building large-scale stateless container-based applications
  • Strong analytical skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • 2+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and solid understanding of cloud-native services and solutions
  • Experience with test automation tools and utilities
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban

Preferred

  • Splunk Administration and observability tools
  • Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Packer, Ansible, Systems Administration
  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience
