The Quality Assurance Specialist at Medlogix, LLC is responsible for the quality control of documents produced by physicians and other expert personnel affiliated with the company. Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and communicate the IQ list to QA Specialists and independent contractors.
  • Proof, edit and format 4-8 dictated documents per day.
  • Contact physicians/experts regarding errors, omissions, corrections, or clarifications with respect to their transcription.
  • Handle the formatting and review of reports drafted by alliance partners.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to client status as directed by management or the team lead.
  • Follow up promptly on work in progress.
  • Alert Marketing to reports that need to be discussed with the client before the report is finalized.
  • Maintain proficiency with company computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Must possess a spoken understanding of URAC accreditation elements relevant to the position, and actively practice and apply such standards as outlined in company policies and procedures. Mandatory participation in URAC training programs relative to the position. Participation in established and future designated URAC committees may be required per company policy.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with at least three (3) years of related work experience in insurance, healthcare or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to work effectively independently.
  • Strong deadline orientation.
  • Self-directed - able to deliver timely, high-quality results with limited supervision.
  • Strong problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Positive "can-do" outlook.

Preferred

  • Auto no-fault and worker compensation experience.

Quality Assurance Specialist (Remote- Anywhere in US)

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Operations

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
