Under the direction of a Project Manager, the Project Engineer performs field and office civil engineering work related to the planning, design, and construction management of public infrastructure projects.   • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in roadway, water, wastewater, and/or stormwater design projects
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD - Civil 3D
  • Knowledgeable in the use of water, wastewater, and stormwater modeling software
  • Ability to assist in managing projects
  • Experience preparing design studies, plans, specifications, and estimates
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Adept at working in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Experience communicating and interacting internally with coworkers and externally with clients
  • Construction management and/or inspection experience
  • Excellent knowledge of computers and networks

Duties include conducting plan checks; preparing project schedules; developing plans, specifications and cost estimates; coordinating engineering activities with contractors and agencies; monitoring tasks for conformance with scope, schedule and budget; performing construction management and inspection services; supporting marketing and business development activities; and performing related work as required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
