  • Associate in applied science.
  • Phlebotomy Certification.
  • EMR, Microsoft Office skills.
  • Epic EMR experience, Radiant, Beaker skills.

**Responsibilities**

Upon the order of a qualified provider, the Radiographer Lab Assistant will utilize equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain images for diagnostic purposes and perform phlebotomy, specimen handling, and waived testing where needed, according to policies, procedures, and protocols of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic and the KSC Radiology and Lab Services Departments. The Radiographer Lab Assistant will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS), Patient Archiving System (PACS), Lab Information System (LIS) and EpicCare. KS Lab Services PST Supervisor will monitor and assess the incumbent's performance for laboratory related duties and coordinate training and competency assessments. May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical, if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties.
