  • BLS certification required, or obtained during first week of hire
  • ACLS, PALS required within 6 months

Preferred

  • TNCC certification

Full Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Nursing Services, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.


Graduation from a Nursing Education program and current NC or multistate RN licensure required. The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. BLS certification required, or obtained during first week of hire. ACLS, PALS required within 6 months. TNCC is recommended
