Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our development team to design, develop, and implement new features using VB, SQL, ASP .NET, AWS, Web Forms, Angular and other modern technologies
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, scalability, and reliability of the application
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards and practices
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and recommend new approaches and solutions as appropriate
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • A passion for technology
  • 1 - 3 years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • 1 - 3 years of Experience with the following (or similar): AngularJS, VB.Net, Web Forms
  • Strong knowledge of VB .NET and modern web development technologies
  • Experience with large enterprise applications and complex systems
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum

Preferred

  • Experience developing on the Servicengine platform or similar internal service system

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Required Skills

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

+ A passion for technology

+ 1 - 3 years of experience writing SQL queries and stored procedures

+ 1 - 3 years of Experience with the following (or similar): AngularJS, VB.Net, Web Forms

+ Strong knowledge of VB .NET and modern web development technologies

+ This is a 3rd party system that we use to manage data and provide tools/support to our organization's internal users.

+ Development in this system will be performed in partnership with the vendor

+ Development will include creation of, and enhancements to, front end web forms, APIs, SQL stored procedures, and other related technologies.

Required Experience
