RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Provide regionally-focused care, growth, and development to our local eFam leaders and volunteers who serve from various locations across the world through Watch Parties eGroups, and Youth ministries.

+ Engage with volunteers to foster community within Elevation Church Online through regional events & connection opportunities, including Watch Parties, eGroups, Outreach events, Pop-Ups, and & City Centers.

+ Develop and implement opportunities that equip volunteers with the spiritual and practical tools needed for effective ministry.

+ Provide responsive pastoral care (prayer, encouragement, and spiritual guidance) to leaders and volunteers, including offering support during times of crisis, as needed.

+ Facilitate opportunities for spiritual growth and discipleship through one-on-one mentoring, monthly team/regional meetings, and online resources.

+ Solicit volunteer feedback regarding their care experiences and use this input to continually improve and adapt care strategies.

+ Work closely with other staff members, including volunteer coordinators, pastors, and ministry leaders, to ensure a holistic approach to care, growth, and development within the online ministry.

+ Travel regularly to a regional area for in-person connection and support for those within your span of care.

MUST-HAVES

+ Active participation in a church (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community)

+ Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to empathize and connect with people, facilitating connection easily from a distance

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping excellence intact

+ Comfortable using online platforms and communication tools for virtual connection, such as video conferencing, email, and chat.

+ Collaborative mindset who works best in a team environment

NICE-TO-HAVES

+ Experience working in a non-profit environment or ministry setting

+ Demonstrated experience in pastoral care ministry, counseling, or spiritual care

+ Familiarity working in a start-up environment with familiarity in building growth paths

DAY-TO-DAY

+ We're a Sunday-Thursday work environment. Monday-Thursday, we're in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we're supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.

+ Travel to your region is required 1-2 times a month to support local leadership development/growth and worship experiences through Watch Parties, City Centers, and Pop Ups.

+ There's a lot to accomplish each week, so we're pretty fast-paced. We're also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.

+ Yes, we work hard. But we're good at playing hard, too. We're a creative staff, so there's no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
