Otis Elevator Company is searching for initiative-taking candidates interested in starting a career in sales!

Internships at Otis are rewarding and challenging, providing you with the opportunity to gain experience, grow, and develop through meaningful projects that drive our business. Our comprehensive internship program will allow you to gain firsthand experience and broaden your sales, communication, and business acumen skills. You will be immersed in the Otis culture where we collaborate to best serve our customers; and where we empower and inspire each other through support, autonomy, and trust.

These are full-time, paid summer internships, typically ranging from 10-12 weeks, starting in May/June.

Positions are available throughout North America. Candidates should be geographically mobile and location flexible to help ensure a fit can be made between individual preference and business necessity/requirements.

**On a typical day you will:**

+ Oversee progressively challenging projects that support growth in various lines of business; servicing existing elevators and escalators, installing new elevators and escalators, and modernizing elevators that have reached their natural life cycle

+ Projects assigned are related to core branch office functions that are client focused, result-oriented, and performance driven

+ Collaborate with team members to research and solve problems

**What you will need to be successful:**

+ Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably with a concentration in Sales, Marketing, Business, or Engineering

+ Ability to work in a highly orientated and dynamic environment

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers

+ Initiative-taking and able to manage multiple projects and responsibilities

+ Prior sales internship is advantageous

The hourly range for this role is $19/hr to $24/hr. We may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
