This role offers a tremendous opportunity to join a dynamic company in a newly created position, acting as a coordinator between IT, operations, and engineering, serving as a liaison between the IT organization and the local business community, and contributing to IT strategies and projects. Responsibilities

  • Act as a coordinator between IT, operations, and engineering about machine network connectivity and IoT applications
  • Serve as a liaison between the local business community and the broader IT organization
  • Contribute to the execution of IT strategies and projects as local IT project manager
  • Provide technical support on hardware, software, and essential network support
  • Connect and support IoT connectivity to manufacturing equipment
  • Work as a liaison with IT and manage projects
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to a team of 50 associates
  • Set up new docking stations and PCs
  • Review system backups for local site and operating servers and network equipment
  • Assist Network administrators with troubleshooting Network Connectivity, Server, and VoIP issues
  • Support of MS Office Suite, Outlook email applications on the desktop
  • First-level support for all non-SAP applications
  • Resolution of hardware and software problems related to desktop and mobile devices
  • Maintain incident and service tickets using ServiceNow
  • Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database (CMDB)
  • Support production and office peripherals as needed
  • Maintenance and update of IoT device documentation relative to network components and login information
  • Maintenance of IoT and office device connections to the correct VLANs and networks

Qualifications

Required

  • 1+ years of technical support experience (hardware & software)
  • Project management and coordination experience
  • Experience working with the business to understand IT needs
  • IoT connectivity and support experience
  • Windows networking experience
  • Windows 10 experience
  • Office 365 support
  • Experience imaging PCs and Laptops
  • Solid technical documentation skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Passion for learning and technology
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and take ownership of solving issues
  • Sense of urgency and proactive personality
  • Ability to work independently with strong time and prioritization management skills

IT Business Support Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a coordinator between IT, operations, and engineering about machine network connectivity and IoT applications
  • Serve as a liaison between the local business community and the broader IT organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives
  • Contribute to the execution of IT strategies and projects as local IT project manager in alignment with the specific needs of the local production site.
  • 50% of your time will be spent providing technical support on hardware, software, and essential network support, including PCs, Laptops, printers, Windows, O365, and MS Office in a manufacturing environment
  • 30% of the time is connecting and supporting IoT connectivity to manufacturing equipment
  • 20% of the time working with the business as a liaison with IT and managing projects
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to a team of 50 associates
  • Setting up new docking stations and PCs
  • Daily review of system backups for local site and operating servers and network equipment (review and documentation)
  • Assist Network administrators with troubleshooting Network Connectivity, Server, and VoIP issues and maintaining correct Active Directory entries for desktops
  • Support of MS Office Suite, Outlook email applications on the desktop, and other company-endorsed desktop and mobile applications
  • First-level support for all non-SAP applications
  • Resolution of hardware and software problems related to desktop and mobile devices
  • Maintain incident and service tickets using ServiceNow
  • Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database (CMDB)
  • Support production and office peripherals as needed
