- Focus on the business side of SAP SD, not IT.
- Handle data migration tasks including cloning and creating new entities, separating data to new entities.
- Configure and develop objects such as purchase order acknowledgements.
- Work with the ABAP team on development tasks.
Qualifications
Required
- Excellent SAP S4 HANA SD expertise.
- Strong data migrations skill set.
- Experience with SAP integration projects.
- Experience with MDG BP CVI.
- Experience with third party systems, bolt-on systems, and interfaces interacting with SAP systems.
- Exposure to EDI/idocs for Order Management.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SCM and FI integrations with SD.
- Strong business process knowledge in Sales and Distribution.
- Experience on Fiori apps- Solution development, Enhancements/Customizations.
Preferred
- Knowledge of GTS.
- Knowledge of SAP S4 Service Module.
- Knowledge on advanced planning tools like IBP and AATP.

Role Title: SAP SD Consultant
Employment Type: Contract
Preferred Location: Remote work EST or CST
Role Description:
Looking for a hands-on SAP SD Consultant who has worked on an M&A or separation project before. They will be working with the development team, doing the configuration, data migration etc. They will be working on the business side not IT side.
(Not looking for Manager level. This is a Hands on role)
- 60% of role will be heavy on the data migration (clone and create new entities, separate data to new entity). Master data in SD customer master, credit data, pricing..)
- Config/dev 40% (setup new entities which will require configuration, use MDG, EDI segregation, bolt on systems) development objects- purchase order acknowledgement etc. Work with ABAP team on dev.

Must Have
- Excellent SAP S4 HANA SD overall Expertise
- Excellent data migrations skill set
- Experience with SAP integration projects
- Experience with MDG BP CVI
- Experience with third party systems, bolt-on systems, interfaces that interact with SAP systems
- Exposure with EDI/idocs for Order Management
- Strong cross functional SAP knowledge on SCM and FI integrations with SD
- Strong Business process knowledge in Sales and Distribution
- Experience on Fiori apps- Solution development, Enhancements/Customizations
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of GTS could be an advantage
