  • Foster positive working relationships with associates and subcontractors.
  • Manage the efficient use of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Proficiently manage on-site requirements related to SWPPP, insurance, and I-9 programs.

Qualifications

  • Construction Management and/or Engineering Degree or related field Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Multifamily Superintendent

Scott Humphrey has partnered with an important client in the Construction field looking for a Lead Superintendent will manage and oversee all field operations on multifamily construction projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires an experienced professional with significant expertise in multifamily construction and the ability to lead and mentor project teams effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and vendors to stay informed about future planning needs.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by conducting safety meetings as needed, adhering to company and OSHA standards, and providing accurate documentation of any safety incidents.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the project team. Keep all relevant parties—including owners, architects, project managers, crew members, government agencies, and inspectors—updated on project status and any arising issues.
  • Oversee daily project operations, regularly update and analyze the project schedule, and prepare two-week look-ahead schedules based on the overall project timeline or any accelerated schedules.
  • Ensure that all work adheres to specified quality standards. Conduct field scope reviews with subcontractors prior to the commencement of work.
  • Foster positive working relationships with associates and subcontractors, and ensure that subcontractors complete their work according to the subcontract agreements.
  • Manage the efficient use of labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to minimize costs, and ensure accurate completion of the PO Log.
  • Proficiently manage on-site requirements related to SWPPP, insurance, and I-9 programs.
