Care Giver

[Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those in need. This position requires experience in caregiving, knowledge of systems, and a passion for helping others.
[Duties:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and mental health
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings
- Lift and transfer clients using proper techniques (including heavy lifting)
[Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field preferred
- Knowledge of nursing home or assisted living procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with mobility needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work well with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
