  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Legally admitted to practice law and in good standing in designated jurisdiction
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate


Our client, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of experience for their Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity practice group. This position can be located in DC, Palo Alto, San Francisco, New York, or Seattle (firm is potentially open to considering other locations).


Role Overview:

In this role, you will work collaboratively with attorneys across the firm to provide dynamic and practical advice to health and life sciences companies on quickly evolving, complex legal matters. This is an opportunity to join a top-ranked team that advises global industry-leading, innovative companies around the world, from start-ups to large public companies, regarding the rapidly evolving privacy and security legal landscape, including the CCPA, GDPR, AI Regulations, FTC guidance, and other pressing considerations.


Qualifications:

  • JD class years 2018 - 2021
  • A successful candidate will have significant experience with HIPAA and other privacy and security laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with technology companies is a plus.
  • Candidates must have superior academic credentials, strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in being part of the clients’ success.
  • Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range for this position is $260,000 – $390,000, based on year classification (discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded)
