By taking ownership of the large-scale data engineering, integration and warehousing projects within Fiserv’s Enterprise Data Commerce Solutions division you will build custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs and write complex and efficient queries to transform raw data sources into easily accessible models by using the Data integration tool with coding across several languages such as Java, Python, and SQL. Additional responsibilities can be to Architect, build, and launch new data models that provide intuitive analytics to the team and Build data expertise and own data quality for the pipelines you create. What you will do:Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructureCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutionsDrive best practices for data engineering, including data quality, reliability, and performance optimizationProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and developmentEnsure adherence to industry best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies to deliver high-quality and scalable software solutionsMonitor and analyze software development metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team productivity, efficiency, and code qualityWhat you will need to have:7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within software development or software engineering. 7+ years of experience in software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, and experience in transitioning teams to these methodologies. 5+ years of strong technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and modern software development languages and frameworks. 5+ years of experience understanding of cluster and parallel architecture as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS, SQL, and NoSQL Databases such as Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, and Elastic search experience 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and knowledge of deploying and managing APIs in a cloud environmentBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experienceWhat would be great to have: Exposure to Big Data tools and solutionsExposure to relational modeling, dimensional modeling, and modeling of unstructured dataExperience in design and architecture review in the banking and financial domainsProficiency with solutions for processing large volumes of data, using data processing tools and Big Data platformsThis role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island or Washington.Please note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
