Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, professional development, and performance management of Team members
  • Maintain daily situational awareness of project statuses and ensure Team members execute the Service Delivery Model
  • Be the first escalation point for all client issues related to past and inflight projects
  • Responsible for the morale and professional welfare of Team members
  • Partner with and assist Sales in the preparation of quotes within 48 hours of receipt of RFQ
  • Maintain, supervise, and enforce all quality requirement, equipment calibration, safety rule, and lab cleanliness standards
  • Assist in the development of industry-related business objectives and initiatives
  • Promote new business opportunities
  • Assist Engineering Manager and Operations Manager with duties as needed
  • Perform other work as required

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or engineering field
  • 5+ years of direct management experience
  • Experience with budgeting and managing P&L
  • Microsoft Office software expertise
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
  • Must be customer focused and quality driven
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate, 25%
  • A valid driver's license and reliable driving record

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree in scientific, engineering or business
  • 7+ years of direct supervisory experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
