Senior AI/ML Server System Architect

Job Description

A Fortune 500 client is looking to have a Senior AI/ML Server System Architect to join their team. This client is leading company in the Aerospace and Defense, communications, enterprise healthcare, industrial, capital equipment and energy industries to deliver solutions for their most complex challenges in manufacturing hardware solutions. As a System Architect you will define the architecture of leading and competitive AI systems, lead new tech research, study market trends, customers interface and lead the clients design team in AI/ML infrastructure space. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong understanding of AI systems design (compute, connectivity, management, power, and cooling subsystems). This role will be 100% remote with travel up to 5 times per year.

Skills and Requirements

· 15+ years of Server and/or AI/ML accelerator hardware design experience

   · 5+ years of experience with AI infrastructure design (design gear, work loads)

   · Hands on experience GPU accelerators and support systems (Nvidia, AMD, Intel)

Strong presentation skills

- HW Design of AI Compute Products for either AI/ML training or inferencing

- Familiar with modern GPU design (design in last 4-5 years)

- Customer facing. Involved in architectural trade-offs, HW subsystems and interconnects

- Experience with modern CPU design such as Intel SapphireRapids / EmeraldRapids or AMD Genoa / Turin.

- Experience with Liquid Cooled systems is a benefit

- Accelerator ASICS (also called GPU) like

- NVidia A100, H100, H200, B200 in HGX, DGX, or MGX form factors

- AMD MI250, MI300 in UBB form factor

- Intel Gaudi 2 or 3 in UBB form factor

- Custom GPUs released in past 3 years · Experience working international based design teams

   · Systems software experience in related fields is desired

Experience with system level integration, interoperability/manufacturing test experience is desired null
