Responsibilities

Providence Medical Center Rehabilitation Department (Physical Therapy department) in Kansas City, KS is looking for a talented Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This is an opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in a collaborative environment. As one of our Physical Therapists, you will:

+ provide medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services, within scope of practice, in order to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, neurologic, balance, vertigo and cardiopulmonary disorders

+ work closely with our physicians and providers to plan treatments to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

+ perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements

+ function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team

+ be responsible for: assessing patients and creating and administering treatment plans with a variety of patient conditions including spine, joint, balance, vertigo, neurologic and post-operative orthopedic cases

+ Our clinic hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30a - 6:00p and Friday 7:30a - 3:00p

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

+ Bachelor/Masters/Doctorate/Certificate Degree in Physical Therapy

+ current state Physical Therapy license, or application to KS licensure in progress

+ current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

+ one year of orthopedic outpatient experience, preferred; or, new graduates who have clinical experience as a student in the outpatient setting

at #providencemedicalcenter or #PMC we are #hiring in #physicaltherapy for a #physicaltherapist or a #PT for #outpatienttherapy for issues like #backpain and #painrelief for #arthrities and/or #kneepain
