Responsibilities

  • Oversee repair station maintenance operations and rotary wing aircraft repair and refurbishment, including maintaining facilities.
  • Set performance standards, ensure quality control, and conformance to company and regulatory specifications.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for maintenance activities.
  • Approve selection, training, and development of staff, ensuring a high-performance team.
  • Focus on continuous organizational improvement and safety management principles.
  • Collaborate to maximize financial performance and measure production efficiency.
  • Provide feedback and advice to maintenance management to address issues and opportunities.
  • Work proactively across all departments to meet functional objectives for production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administration.
  • Resolve customer and staff issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure availability of firefighting and safety equipment and adherence to safety precautions.
  • Promote and facilitate continuous improvement efforts and industry best practices.
  • Review and approve written correspondence, periodic, and special reports on work planned and performed.
  • Maintain strong leadership focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years in aircraft operations and production management
  • 10+ years in an executive management position
  • 10+ years working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment
  • Extensive working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Part 145 regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong independent thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
