General Manager MRO

This organization is a leading provider of aviation support and maintenance services, specializing in the repair and refurbishment of aircraft and components. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

• Oversee repair station maintenance operations and rotary wing aircraft repair and refurbishment, including maintaining facilities.
• Set performance standards, ensure quality control, and conformance to company and regulatory specifications.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for maintenance activities.
• Approve selection, training, and development of staff, ensuring a high-performance team.
• Focus on continuous organizational improvement and safety management principles.

Operational Excellence:

• Collaborate to maximize financial performance and measure production efficiency.
• Provide feedback and advice to maintenance management to address issues and opportunities.
• Work proactively across all departments to meet functional objectives for production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administration.
• Resolve customer and staff issues promptly and effectively.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure availability of firefighting and safety equipment and adherence to safety precautions.
• Promote and facilitate continuous improvement efforts and industry best practices.

Reporting & Communication:

• Review and approve written correspondence, periodic, and special reports on work planned and performed.
• Maintain strong leadership focus on customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• 10+ years in aircraft operations and production management.
• 10+ years in an executive management position.
• 10+ years working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment.

Knowledge:

• Extensive working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Part 145 regulations.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong independent thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
