  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Oversee the monitoring of departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
  • Ensure on-going compliance with federal, state and local agencies; Joint Commission, ACR, JRCERT, ICAVL and all regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain established productivity standards and supply expense metrics.
  • Accountable for monthly reporting departmental variances, budget, FTE and expense variances with associated action plan.

Qualifications

Required

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Vascular Specialist, Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience.

Preferred

  • 3 years of leadership or management experience.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained
      prior to hire date or job transfer date. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered
      Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Vascular Specialist, Registered Cardiac
      Sonographer, Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer or Advanced Cardiac Sonographer also
      accepted.
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
      obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nuclear Med Technologist, Non-Certified
      Radiologic Technician, Computed Tomography also accepted. Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic
      Technologist General Certificate is required in addition to Nuclear Med Technology Certification
      Board.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiology credentialed from the American Registry of
      Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. CI, VI, M, CT, MR,
      NM, S, VS also accepted. Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist General
      Certificate (TMB-GMR) is required if ARRT credential is in R, CI, VI, M, CT or NM.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
      (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
    • Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
      obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
      (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
    degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific
    experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
