As an Automotive Technician at AAA Mid Atlantic, you will be responsible for meeting customers' vehicle needs through preventative maintenance, skilled diagnostics, and repair. Responsibilities
- Mount, balance, and install tires.
- Maintain knowledge of general automotive skills and continue to develop additional technical skills.
- Perform fluid flush and replacement, visual vehicle inspection, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
- Accurately perform maintenance and advanced automotive repairs/diagnosis for engine repair, automatic/manual transmissions, suspension/steering, brakes, ABS/traction control, electrical, and heating/AC.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills and continue to develop additional technical skills.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to accurately repair vehicles using advanced automotive diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to provide technical guidance through previous experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or car dealer certifications (or ability to obtain in 12 months - paid for by AAA).
- Ability to lift up to a maximum of 75lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to complete satisfactory Pre-Employment Screenings (background check, drug screening, fitness for duty assessment).
- Authorized to work in the USA.

As a full-time member of the AAA Car Care team, we can offer you:
Tire & Lube Technicians:
+ A competitive hourly rate depending on experience level.
Repair Technicians/Mechanics:
+ A competitive flat rate dependent on experience and position level. The more you turn, the more you earn!
+ Repair Technicians/Mechanics can also take advantage of our Productivity Incentive Bonus that gives you the potential to earn up to an additional $1,100 per month!
+ All full-time techs working back shop are scheduled a total of 5 days each week, with Mondays, Friday & Saturdays typically required. You'll get Sundays off each week, and another day during the week off dependent on business need.
+ Robust health benefit offerings, including Medical Insurance with Prescription Coverage, Dental Insurance, and Vision Insurance. Coverage begins 30 days after you start.

What you will do on the AAA Team:
