The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

We offer hourly pay - **we are not a flat rate shop, get paid for the time you work. We offer overtime!**

The pay for this position starts at $30 / hour. In addition, you can earn an additional $1.50 / hour for ASE certifications after the required minimum of 4 (up to 10 in total). Earn an additional $5 / hour more working both Saturday and Sunday, as well as an additional $5 / hour for overnight work. Total pay range is $30 - $44.50 / hour.

This position is located at our Service Center 7001 Essington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19153.

Auto Technician Benefits:

+ Yearly tool stipend of $500

+ ASE Certification assistance

+ ASEs beyond the required minimum of 4 will increase hourly rate by an additional $1.50 / hour (Up to 10 total)

Schedules Available:

+ Any 3 weekdays 3:00pm-11:00pm

+ Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am-3:00pm

+ Weekend pay differential $5 / hour

+ Possible Pay Range: $30 - $44 / hour

OR

+ Sunday-Thursday: 11:00pm-7:00am

+ Overnight pay differential: $5.00 / hour

+ Possible Pay Range: $30 - $44 / hour

**Responsibilities**

We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:

+ Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels

+ Perform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines

+ Repair and replace tires

+ Replacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)

+ Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair

+ Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures

+ Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all services

+ May process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backs

+ Follow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standards

+ Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards

+ Perform related duties as required.

**Qualifications**

+ Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.

+ 4+ current and valid ASE certifications OR OEM training/certifications required.

+ Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus

+ Hire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 6 months of hire

+ Must have a current and valid driver's license

+ PA State Inspection license (preferred, but required within the first 90 days of employment)

+ PA State Emissions license (preferred, but required within the first 90 days of employment)

+ Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

+ Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
