An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer is needed to support the Operational Fires (OpFires) Program in the Tactical Missiles segment of MFC's Advanced Programs Line of Business in Grand Prairie. The role focuses on the design, build, and test of a demonstration missile as well as the development of a tactical/objective missile design.   • Knowledge of Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool navigation
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools
  • Knowledge / experience with the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Ability to perform tolerance analysis

Preferred

  • Prior experience working air vehicle development
  • Model Based Design experience

Prefer candidates with Active Secret Clearance.

Will consider candidate that have the ability to obtain secret clearance. Active Secret is not required to start.


An experienced Mechanical Design Engineer is needed to support the Operational Fires (OpFires) Program in the Tactical Missiles segment of MFC's Advanced Programs Line of Business in Grand Prairie.
The program focuses on the design, build and test of a demonstration missile as well as the development of a tactical/objective missile design.
The successful candidate must demonstrate highly innovative approaches to resolve difficult design issues and will be responsible for creation detailed component and subsystem concept designs and mature those designs to released CREO models following Model Based Definition practices.

Required Experience:
Candidate must have ProE CREO experience and knowledge of Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool navigation.
The candidate must also have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools.
Knowledge / experience with the application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) as well as ability to perform tolerance analysis are also required.

Desired Experience:
Prior experience working air vehicle development and Model Based Design is highly desired.
