**Position Summary**

The Production Scheduler reports to and operates under the direct supervision of the Operations Planning Manager. This position is responsible for scheduling orders and coordinating workflow within production departments.

**Essential Duties and Tasks**

+ Schedules orders to be run based on specifications and machine capability/availability

+ Coordinates workflow within production departments

+ Work with Production and Ops Planning to ensure ProAmpac is meeting customers timing requests

+ Publishes and distributes schedules as needed

+ Monitors the daily, weekly and monthly production by machine and/or process and monitors the types of incoming orders by machine and/or process

+ Participates in on-going training opportunities and supports a continuous quality improvement environment

+ Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety and prerequisite programs

+ Report food safety concerns

+ Takes part on cross-functional teams for training, best practice, and working in tandem with the estimators of other ProAmpac divisions for collaborative efforts in NBOs and estimating process

+ Perform other assignments as requested by ProAmpac management
