Qualifications

Required

  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration with a concentration in Finance or a closely related field OR a bachelor's degree in the same fields
  • At least one year of experience as a Financial Analyst, Budget Management Analyst, Business Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Cost Analyst or Operations Research Analyst - Finance performing financial analysis forecasting at a manufacturing company
  • Experience in financial modeling and methodology for manufacturing cost and return on investment
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.

Senior Financial Analyst. SFC Global Supply Chain, Inc., a subsidiary of Schwan's Company seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Marshall, Minnesota. This position, under limited supervision, is responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis projects. Report, analyze, forecast and interpret financial, operating data. This may include profit/loss analysis, cost analysis, market niche reporting, regional performance assessments, customer proposals, rate of return, depreciation and any other ad-hoc analysis of interest to management. Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual financial plan which may include functional area specific modeling, time-series analysis and graphic presentation of both operating and financial data. Prepare complex financial analysis reports in a timely and accurate manner; and complete individual analytical projects in satisfactory manner given abstract project guidelines. Interpret and apply policies and procedures to new situations. Advise on and recommend to management desirable operational adjustments and interpret budget to actual variance. May perform ROI analysis investments. Develop operating metrics. Review performance to plan and conduct prior year's variance analysis. Review business unit financial statements and policies to ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines. Assist other Finance and organizational areas with financial matters as required and may serve as a mentor and evaluator of lower-level staff. Other duties, as assigned.
