  • Traveling to visit potential and existing investments, as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • 2-3 years experience as a commercial real estate analyst for an investment bank, developer or private equity firm
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate related major from a top tier university with a strong GPA
  • Expert knowledge in Excel and the overall financial valuation and modeling process
  • Solid understanding of and ability to model capital structures, including senior debt, mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and common equity
  • Ability to assess qualitative and quantitative characteristics of properties and/or investments
  • Outgoing personality with the drive to succeed and natural curiosity

Seeking 2-3 year #CRE Acquisitions Analyst/Associate with high pedigree job history (investment banking, developer, private equity) and real estate related degree from top universities. Preferred LA based candidates. Must be exceptionally skilled in financial modeling. ARGUS experience is also preferred.


RETS has been engaged by our client, a growing industrial owner and developer, to recruit a best in class Acquisitions Associate for their team in Los Angeles, CA.


You Will Be Responsible For

  • Collaborating with small deal team to analyze and execute real estate investments;
  • Performing extensive financial modeling, including scenario and sensitivity analysis; development of sources and uses, discounted cash flows, promoted and carried interests;

Ideal Candidates MUST Possess

  • 2-3 three years experience as a commercial real estate analyst for an investment bank, developer or private equity firm;
