  • Involve in analyzing the analytics need of the organization, identifying effective techniques, and designing the right data structures.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple conflicting requirements with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing scalable, high-performing data and analytics enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business problems using data and translate them into actionable insights stemming from data analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience creating dashboards and interactive reports, data analysis in BI tools (Tableau, Streamlit, Looker, etc).
  • Expertise in SQL, comfortable with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, R, Java, etc).
  • Experience building ETL/ELT processes and thorough understanding of big data principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to tech and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with Google Cloud Technologies

The data & analytics team at Copart is focused on using data, analytics, and sciences to improve and inform various aspects of our business. We’re looking for a Sr Analytics Engineer to join our team, working very closely with all aspects of data and analytics services to develop data solutions throughout the organization, enabling end users to provide valuable insights of data across Copart. In this role, your work will broadly influence the company's data consumers, executives, and analysts.
