We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team located in Paramount, California. - Schedule and dispatch drivers, relaying work orders, messages, or information to drivers and manager.
- Verify booking information against terminal systems.
- Maintain daily reports up to date and arrange for necessary repairs.
- Handle billing and invoicing of all files.
- Perform data entry tasks and manage heavy email correspondence.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Carry out any tasks or assignments given by upper management or supervisors.
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in business systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
- Familiarity with Cargowise, CRM, and About Time software.
- Ability to handle billing functions effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
- Capability to coordinate logistics at a local and global level.
- Understanding of intermodal logistics.
- Experience in logistics and distribution.
- Familiarity with the logistics industry.
- Ability to adapt to the fast-changing environment of global logistics.
- Must have a general understanding of logistics operations and related areas.
