  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school degree or GED.
  • Three to five years Catering/Food Service Experience in a leadership role.
  • One to three years Catering/Banquet Management Experience.
  • Florida Food Manager Certificate.
  • Class D Florida Driver's License.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Hospitality Management.
  • Class B Florida Driver's License.
  • Forklift Certified.
  • Alcohol Awareness certification.
  • Catering Management Certification.
  • Hospitality Industry Association affiliation.

Full Job Description

Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for clear communication, both oral and written, with various departments on multiple special events to ensure guest satisfaction and success. Keeps in perspective the expectations of the client, both internally and externally, while maintaining the reputation and integrity of Universal Orlando. Responsible for all necessary administrative paperwork to comply with the standard company policies and procedures. Responsible for other paperwork/assignments as directed by management.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION:

+ High school degree or GED required.

+ Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Business/Hospitality Management preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

+ Three to five years Catering/Food Service Experience in a leadership role required.

+ One to three years Catering/Banquet Management Experience required.

+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

+ Florida Food Manager Certificate required.

+ Class D Florida Driver's License required.

+ Class B Florida Driver's License preferred.

+ Forklift Certified preferred.

+ Alcohol Awareness preferred.

+ Catering Management Certification preferred.

+ Hospitality Industry Association affiliation preferred.
